Papantoniou, from Maroussi to AEK
24-10-2009
Epameinondas Papantoniou ('90) won this summer the silver medal of the U-19 World Championship in Auckland (New Zealand). In that team many players played in an amazaing level: Kostas Papanikolaou ('90), Kostas Sloukas ('90), Vlantimir Giankovits ('90), Leonidas Kaselakis ('90), Nikolaos Pappas ('90)... Papantoniou, a 6'1'' point-guard, finished with 4.1 points and 1.6 assists, but Maroussi is playing Euroleague this season and he won't have many chances to show his skills, and finally he has been transferred to AEK.
In his curriculum there is also a gold medal in the U-18 European Championship of 2008 and also a tittle of Albert Schweitzer Tournament in Manhheim the same year.
