Zou possesses a great body frame to play basketball as inside player. He also has a good wingspan, 7'0. His body is strong and heavy but his athleticism is still high. Zou is not a leaper, his movements are quick but not explosive and his coordination is average. He runs the court well. He does not avoid contacts, Zou is a very determined player and plays hard.
Zou has good mechanics in his jump-shot. He takes a few shots from mid-range but he does not hesitate to take it. His release is quick but his percentage is not high. All his shots are off the catch. Sometimes he dares to take three point shots.
Zou plays center position but he is very mobile and he is used as a screener a lot because he is a great screener. His scoring chances comes from rolls and kicks of his teammates and he is a good finisher in the paint. Zou finishes quick and he is able to do it with both hands. He does not have a lot of moves at low post, but he uses a pair with effectiveness.
Zou is really tough. He shows no fear to play hard and uses his body to handle man to man defense. Otherwise he falls in foul trouble often. Zou is very intense going to both boards and he is a tireless offensive rebounder. Thanks to his wingspan and his defensive mentality Zou is a good shot-blocker.
His real name is 邹雨宸. He participated at Nike All Asia Camp in 2013 where he was chose MVP. Zou was one of the leaders of China national team in their unbeaten run to gold medal at U18 FIBA Asia Championship in 2014. Zou was the MVP of the All Star Rookie Game of CBA in January 2015. In December 2015 at CBA league game Zou fouled Jeremy Tyler and caused a big brawl and Zou was suspended five games.
