Jorge Santana (1990, 6'4'', G) has been the best scorer of today at U-19 World Championships in New Zealand. The spanish guard has led his NT to the victory against Kazakhstan 71-101, but not enough to qualify for the quarterfinals. The Real Madrid "B" player has scored 26 points with 6/6 behind the arc.

Other good performances of european prospects have been:

-Tautvydas Slezas (1990, 6'9'', C, Lithuania): 21 points (10/17 twos) and 12 rebounds in the defeat against USA (76-69).

-Nikolaos Pappas (1990, 6'4'', G, Greece): 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the victory over France (72-76).

The quarterfinals are: Greece - Argentina, France - Australia, Puerto Rico - Croatia and USA - Canada.
