Tomislav Zubcic (1990, 6'11'', PF) has been one of the heroes of the quarterfinals of the U-19 World Championships of New Zealand after leading Croatia to the semifinals. Zubcic & Co. beat Puerto Rico 78-91 with an impressive performance of the forward: 27 points (11/21 field goals), 8 rebounds and 2 steals. His teammate Toni Prostran (1991, 6'0'', G) also shined: 20 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists.

-Christophe Leonard (1990, 6'7'', F, France): 22 points, 13 rebounds and 3 blocks in the loss against Australia (73-79).

-Eimantas Bendzius (1990, 6'8'', PF, Lithuania): 21 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals in the victory over Kazakhstan (113-79).
