FIBA has named the MVP and the best team of U-20 Division A European Championships of Rhodes (Greece). Greek power-forward Kostas Papanikolaou (2.03, '90) won the trophy after a great tournament, averaging 11.8 points and 6.4 rebounds, with a 15+6 on the final against France.

The rest of players have been: spanish Xavi Rabasseda (1.99, '89), french Antoine Diot (1.91, '89), montenegro Nikola Vucevic (2.10, '90) and french Kevin Seraphin (2.05, '89).
