Today started the Additional Qualifying Round for this summer Eurobasket at Poland. Six teams will fight for one spot from today to August 30th in two groups. The winner will make it and will take part at the Final Round. The two groups are A (Bosnia-Herzegovina, Portugal and Belgium) and B (France, Italy and Finland). Let's take a look what happened in the first day from the point of view of the young prospects.

At group A Bosnia-Herzegovina beat Portugal (56-62) with Nihad Djedjovic ('90) -at the pic- on fire with 15 points and 2 steals. Nemanja Gordic ('88) helped with 8 in 24 minutes, while Elmedin Kikanovic ('88) collected 1 point and 1 rebound.

At group B France won in Italy (77-80) even without NBA Tony Parker. With the Bleus Antoine Diot ('89) scored 4 points and Edwin Jackson ('89) didn't play.

Next games will be Saturday: France - Finland and Bosnia and Herzegovina - Belgium.
