Team coached by Nenad Trunic recovered after their first loosing effort in front France on the debut. Miljenovic led the victory (61-82), helped also by Aleksandr Cvetkovic ('93), 14 and 7 rebounds, and Vukasin Vujovic ('93), 12 in 16 minutes. Ukranian main wheapon, point-guard Klym Artamonov ('93), shined, but not enough: 26 points (5/6 threes) and 9 rebounds. At the other game of group D France beat Latvia (90-76) with power-forward Livio Jean-Charles ('93) as the best french scorer (18 with 8/11 on twos). At the other side guard Kaspars Vecvagars ('93) made his particular show: 25 points (5/11 threes) and 9 rebounds. Let's take a look to group A. Turkey won his second game in a row, in this case beating Montenegro (74-64). Berkay Candan ('93), 21+7 in 18', and Burak Yildizli ('94), with 15 points and 11 rebounds, were unstoppable for team coached by Djordjije Pavicevic. Forward Marko Mugosa ('93) wasn't enough even his 21 points (4/11 threes) and 11 rebounds. At the other game of the group Italy crashed Israel (90-64) with Francesco Veccia ('93) on fire: 26 points (3/3 threes) and 8 rebounds. Or Solomon ('93) finished as the best israelian scorer: 15 and 8 rebounds. On the standings Turkey is first (2-0) over Italy (1-1), Israel (1-1) and Montenegro (0-2).
About group B... Russia added its second victory over Greece (76-52) with Sergey Karasev ('93) collecting 17 points and 9 rebounds. At greek side only one kid made more than 10 points: Apollon Deligeorgis ('93). The point guard finished with 12 and 5 rebounds. Lithuanian people who are following their NT don't believe what is happening and after two days of competition they don't now what is to win. Today they lost against Poland (67-64) shocking with Przemyslaw Karnowski ('93) and Piotr Niedzwiedzki ('93), authors of 15+9 and 14+11. Taurus Togela ('93) shined for second game in a row in Lithuania: 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals. On the standings Russia and Poland are first (2-0) over Greece and Lithuania, both with 0-2.
Finally in group C Spain continue in its good way after beating Germany easy (40-79). Power-forward Julius Wolf ('93) battled (10+6) against the team coached by Diego Ocampo, with spanish kids playing in a great level and Alejandro Suarez ('93) shining: 16 and 7/9 FGs. On the other game Croatia recovered of its loss against Spain with a suffered victory over Czech Republic (70-68). Antonio Boban ('93), with 16 points and 6 rebounds, and Dario Saric ('94), with 14+7, created a lot of problems to czechs, with Martin Kriz ('93) collecting 17 points and 9 rebounds. On the standings Spain is first (2-0), over Croatia (1-1), Germany (1-1) and Czech Republic (0-2).
