Czech Republic took yesterday an important victory to avoid the relegation to Eurobasket Division B after beating Hungary 71-65. Jan Vesely ('90) -at the pic- and Tomas Satoransky ('91) worked hard with 11 points and 6 rebounds and 10 points and 9 rebounds. At the same team David Jelinek ('90) scored 2 in 6 minutes. For the hungarians guard David Vojvoda ('90) collected 4 points in 6 minutes and forward Adam Hanga ('89), 3 in 9.

On the other game Ukraine beat Estonia (71-64). As usual, many young prospects at the winners side: Oleksandr Kolchenko ('88), 9 points with 2/4 threes, Dmytro Gliebov ('88), 9 and 8 rebounds, Maksym Vilkhovetskyi ('88), 6 with 2/3 threes, Denys Lukashov ('89), 6 with 2/3 threes and Sergiy Popov ('88), 0 in 10'. For Estonia Siim-Sander Vene ('90) didn't play.

On the standings the four teams are with 1-1 balance. The final two worst will go down.
