Jan Vesely ('90) has been today the main character of the important victory of Czech Republic over Ukraine (71-64) in the Relegation Round of the Eurobasket. Two teams will go down to division B. The small-forward of Partizan scored 14 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and made 1 block in 29 minutes. The other team prospects also helped, with Tomas Satoransky ('91) dishing 6 assists and grabbing 3 rebounds -he didn't score- and David Jelinek ('91) collecting 7 points and 3 rebounds. Tomas Hampl ('88) didn't play. At Ukraine Oleksandr Kolchenko ('88) made a great job, but not enough: 22 points with 3/7 behind the arc. Denys Lukashov ('89) scored 5 points and grabbed 2 rebounds, Dmytro Gliebov ('88) scored 3 points and grabbed 1 rebound, Sergiy Popov ('88) scored 1 point and grabbed 2 rebounds and Maksym Vilkhovetskyi ('88) played 3 minutes.

On the other game Hungary beat Estonia (75-64). Adam Hanga ('89), with 6 points and 4 assists, and David Vojvoda ('90), with 2 rebounds in 10 minutes, contributed to the victory. Siim-Sander Vene ('90) played 9 minutes with Estonia: 2 points and 2 rebounds.
