Czech Republic won its third victory in a row at the Relegation Round after beating Estonia easy (80-54), and is close to division "A" next year. Jan Vesely ('90) repeated a good performance with 11 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals. Guard David Jelinek ('90) -at the pic- also shined with 9 and 5 rebounds, while Tomas Satoransky ('91) collected 4 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds. For Estonia squad Siim-Sander Vene ('90) played 14 minutes, with 2 points and 3 rebounds.

At the other game of the battle to avoid the relegation to division "B" Ukraine beat Hungary (77-69) with the prospects making a good job: Denys Lukashov ('89), 13 points and 5 rebounds, Sergiy Popov ('88), 3 points and 2 rebounds, Sergiy Gladyr ('88), 3 points and 7 rebounds, Dmytro Gliebov ('88), 1 point and 6 rebounds and Oleksandr Kolchenko ('88), 2 rebounds. With Hungary Adam Hanga ('89) scored 3 points and grabbed 2 rebounds and David Vojvoda ('90) collected 3 points and 2 rebounds.

On the standings Czech Republic is first (3-1), below Hungary (2-2), Ukraine (2-2) and Estonia (1-3). The last two will go down.
