Serbia finished third of its group after beating Lithuania 79-89 with another good game of Nemanja Bjelica ('88), who is the best serbian rebounder averaging 6.5 every game. The skilled forward collected 3 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal in only 22 minutes. About the other prospects, Milan Macvan ('89) scored 3 points and grabbed 3 rebounds, Miroslav Raduljica ('88) scored 1 point and made 4 fouls in 12 minutes, and point-guard Stefan Markovic ('88) didn't score in 5 minutes.

In another game of the group F Spain beat Poland easy 68-90, with Ricky Rubio ('90) collecting 2 points and 4 assists and Victor Claver ('88) playing only 3 minutes. Finally Slovenia defeat Turkey 67-69. For the loosers Baris Hersek ('88) didn't play. On the final standings of this round Slovenia finished first (4-1) over Turkey (4-1), Serbia (3-2), Spain (3-2), Poland (1-4) and Lithuania (0-5).

The battle of the quarterfinals is this one: France - Spain, Russia - Serbia, Greece - Turkey and Croatia - Slovenia.
