Serbians feel comfortable on important games and important moments, and yesterday they show that in the semifinals of the Eurobasket of Poland. The squad coached by Dusan Ivkovic -the youngest of the tournament- beat Slovenia after an overtime (96-92). The serbian prospects shined in a good level, with Stefan Markovic ('88) making a great all around performance: 3 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in 14 minutes. Miroslav Raduljica ('88) started the game, finishing with 2 points and 1 rebound in 6 minutes, while Nemanja Bjelica ('88) didn't score in 13 minutes (2 rebounds and 1 assist) and Milan Macvan ('89) without scoring also in 3' (1 foul).

On the other semifinal Spain beat Greece easy (82-64), with 5 points, 3 assists and 2 steals of Ricky Rubio ('90) and with Victor Claver ('88) playing only 3 minutes (0/1 FG and 1 rebound). On greek side Nick Calathes ('89) shined with 10 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals, while Kostas Koufos ('89) scored 4, grabbing 3 rebounds in 7 minutes.

On the battle for the fifth position France beat Turkey (80-68) with Nicolas Batum ('88) collecting 13 points and 3 rebounds and Antoine Diot ('89) showing his skills and how he has improved from 3 points line during the season: 13 points (3/5 threes), 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. For Turkey Baris Hersek ('88) started the game finishing with 5 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals. On the last game Croatia defeat Russia (69-76).
