Ricky Rubio ('90) and Victor Claver ('88) won yesterday the Gold medal of the Eurobasket after Spain beat Serbia in the final easy, very easy (85-63). The point-guard started the game as usually and finished with 10 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist in 19 minutes, while the forward only played 6 minutes, with 2 points. Serbians couldn't do anything against team coached by Sergio Scariolo. Miroslav Raduljica ('88) finished as the best score prospect with 6 points (3/3 FG) and 3 rebounds and 7 minutes. Point-guard Stefan Markovic ('88) collected 2 points, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks in 19 minutes, Nemanja Bjelica ('88) didn't score in 11' (0/4 FG and 1 steal) and Milan Macvan ('89) played only 9 minutes: 3 fouls and 1 rebound.

Greece won the bronze medal after beating Slovenia (57-56), with Nick Calathes ('89) scoring 4 points and grabbing 4 rebounds and Kostas Koufos ('89) sitting on the bench all the game. France defeat Croatia (69-62) finishing fifth and with Antoine Diot ('89) shining: 18 points and 4/7 threes. Nicolas Batum ('88) also made a good performance: 8 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds. Finally Russia finished seventh after beating Turkey (66-89). Baris Hersek ('88) had minutes: 4 points, 10 rebounds and 1 steal in 24'.
