In a friendly game played between Panathinaikos and Vardar Skopje, from Macedonia, team coached by Zeljko Obradovic had one main character in the huge victory (101-71). Georgian center Giorgi Shermadini ('89) scored 28 points to led the green squad.

Shermadini, who is 7'1'', signed last year from Maccabi Tbilisi, a team from his home country. Played in four greek league games (9.5 points and 4.5 rebounds) and even made his debut in Euroleague.
