Italians of Benneton Treviso still dream with the final round of the Euroleague. Team coached by Frank Vitucci qualify for the second round (and last before the final round) after beating Ventspils 88-76 (78-73 at Latvia). Lithuanian Donatas Motiejunas ('90) didn't waste the time for Treviso's squad: 6 points, 3 rebounds and 1 steal in 12 minutes. His teammate Andrea Renzi ('89) -at the pic- collected 2 points and 4 rebounds. For latvians Dairis Bertans ('89) scored 16 points with 2/5 behind the arc and Janis Strelnieks ('89), 15 with 4 rebounds. 

In another game of the first qualifying round Orleans beat Charleroi 81-56 (55-53 at Belgium). Adrien Moermann ('88) collected 6 points and 4 rebounds, while Ludovic Vaty ('88) scored 4 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. In the third game of the day Alba Berlin beat Le Mans 77-62 (61-60 at France). Antoine Diot ('89) struggled: 1 point with 0/8 FGs. Finally Maroussi beat Aris 89-60 (69-67 on first game). Epameinondas Papantoniou ('90) had his opportunity for the winners: 2 points in 4 minutes.

The four teams will fight for the two final spots in a semifinal system: Benneton - Orleans and Maroussi - Alba. The first games will be Tuesday.
