Maccabi Tel-Aviv lost the final of the israelian Winner Cup in front Hapoel Jerusalem 80-86. Team coached by Pini Gershon signed this summer important players like Chuck Eidson, Stephane Lasme, Doron Perkins, Maciej Lampe, Alan Anderson or Gal Mekel ('88), but not enough to take the first tittle of the season.

The young point-guard scored 6 points and dished 5 assists in the final, even he made 2/11 FG with 0/5 on threes. Not a good start for Tel Aviv team.
