Martynas Gecevicius ('88) returned Efes Pilsen to the reality. The turkish team signed this summer players like Igor Rakocevic, Daniel Santiago and Bostjan Nachbar, but the Euroleague is really tough and Lietuvos Rytas kill them (77-70) in the game played yesterday in Vilnius (Lithuania). Gecevicius scored 21 points (5/8 threes), grabbed 3 rebounds and dished 2 assists. Good start for Rytas, that next week have a trip to Orleans (France).

Another prospect who shined yesterday was Branislav Djekic ('91). The serbian power-forward signed for Partizan some weeks ago, and against Unicaja Malaga made a good performance with 10 points (2/4 behind the arc), 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block in 26 minutes. Serbians lost (64-72). Djekic won this summer the gold medal in the U-18 European Championsip at Metz (France). He was the serbian refference inside with Dejan Musli ('91).
