Ventspils played yesterday a new game of Baltic League, crushing Nevezys 106-62. Team coached by Agris Galvanovskis is constructed around a very young group of players, who are the future engine of latvian NT. Against the lithuanians many of them show their skills, with Dairis Bertans ('89) at the front with 21 points and 9/11 FG. With him also shined Janis Strelnieks ('89), with 20 and 6/6 behind the arc, and Arturs Berzins ('88), with 13 and 3 rebounds. Their next generation is also coming: Lauris Blaus ('90), with 4 points and 2 rebounds, and Martins Meiers ('91), with 4 points and 2/2 FG.
In Vilnius Lietuvos Rytas took yesterday also an easy victory against Siauliai (99-77), with Martynas Gecevicius ('88) keeping the good line of Euroleague's games: 23 points with 6/9 threes. The best player of Siauliai was prospect Deividas Gailius ('88): 21 points with 8/11 twos.
