Jeremy Tyler ('91) has started the israelian league with problems, and after two games the american power-forward is averaging 0.5 points and 1.0 rebound in only 7.5 minutes for Maccabi Haifa. The young prospect is struggling in this new experience overseas after coming straight from high school. Last week-end his team beat Maccabi Rishon (84-75), with the american playing only 5 minutes.
In Tel Aviv Gal Mekel ('88) made a good job with Maccabi against Ironi Nahariya (79-68), with Florida former point-guard collecting 13 points (3/5 threes) and 5 assists. Maccabi is 2-0 in the standings.
