The exact name of the team is European Basketball College Majadahonda, and is located close to Madrid. They compete in EBA (fourth division) and actually they are at the top of the standings on group B with a 8-1 record. Let's see the stats of last game: 71-62 and victory over Estudiantes. Nikola Rakocevic ('91) scored 19 points with 4/6 threes, Dejan Majstorovic ('88) collected 12 with 3/5 behind the arc, Goran Oluic ('88) scored 11 grabbing 6 rebounds and Jefferson Froehlich ('91) -at the pic- show his skills of all-around player with 5 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, 4 steals and 1 block shot. There were the best players of locals, all of them non-spanish and 21 years old or younger.

With former player Nikola Loncar as the coach and also former spanish player Cesar Arranz as sports manager this poject brings to the club european young players to build them. Last season, with the U-18 team, they qualyfied for the final round of spanish championship, held in Vitoria. It was a great result for the club, because it was the only team of Madrid competing in the tourney (Real Madrid, Estudiantes, Fuenlabrada and Torrejon dind't make it). Actually they are making a step forward fighting at the top with their senior team. Senior? Not really. Rakocevic ('91), a guard borned in Montenegro who grew up at Real Madrid youth teams, is their best scorer. He collects 19.1 points with 47% on threes. Another prospect shining is Dejan Majstorovic ('88), a serbian forward who is scoring 14.6 points, while Djordje Majstorovic ('90) -also from Serbia and 2.07- makes good stats too: 12.6 points and 6.0 rebounds.

Finally the best prospect is brazilian Jefferson Froehlich ('91), a 1.95 all-around player who makes many things: 9.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.9 steals. The player was last summer with Brazil NT in the Nike Global Challenge with another brazilian who is playing in Spain: Jordan Burger ('91), from Sevilla.
