Gonzaga University (NCAA) started its season games, and with only to contests german prospect Elias Harris ('89) has shown that the decision to leave his home country this summer was correct. The 2.03 forward, who last year averaged 21 points and 9 rebounds in third division, repeated again his great performance of his debut and yesterday collected 18 points (6/9 FG), 7 rebounds and 1 steal in only 19 minutes in the victory of the Bulldogs over Mississippi Valley State (92-74).

In the first game of the season Gonzaga beat Alberta (94-53) with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals in 18' from Harris.
