Beside Eurocup, another european competition started yesterday: the FIBA Eurochallenge. Over all the prospects that shined in this first day ukraine point-guard Denys Lukashov ('89) made the best individual performance, leading Kyiv to the victory in the opener against KK Zagreb (83-70) with 21 points (5/11 threes), 8 assists, 5 steals, 4 rebounds and 1 block. Another youngster played in a good level: Oleksandr Lypovyy ('91). The 2.00 meters guard collected 12 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals.

Other good performances were: 

-Nemanja Gordic ('88, Buducnost): 12 points with 3/6 threes and 3 assists in the losing effort at Gravelines (70-59).

-Oleksandr Kolchenko ('88, Khimik): 15 points, 3 steals and 2 assists at home against Den Bosch (91-92).

-Thomas Heurtel ('89, Strasbourg): 15 points with 3/6 threes and 8 rebounds at home against Apoel (76-67).

-Andreja Milutinovic ('90, FMP): 16 points with 3/4 threes and 3 steals at Aalst (78-79).

-Bojan Radetic ('88, FMP): 13 points amb 3/7 threes and 7 rebounds at Aalst (78-79).
