Burak Yildizli ('94) has been the focus of attention of the first game of U-16 Tournament in Iscar (Spain). The turkish forward led his national team to the victory (85-69) destroying Italy with 26 points and 6 rebounds. Talat Altunbey ('94) also helped with 17 points and 9 rebounds, while Tayfun Erülkü ('94) finished with 16. U-15 point-guard Kenan Sipahi ('95) showed his all-around game: 5 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds. Aristide Landi ('94), with 23 points, the best italian.

About the other first day results Spain beat Portugal (81-57) with 17 points of guard Santiago Villena ('94), Russia beat Poland (69-61) with a great Stanislav Ilnitskiy ('94) -28 points and 8 rebounds in 25 minutes- and Slovenia -with Jakob Strazar ('94) scoring 12 points- lost against Castilla-Leon region (63-75). At spanish side Millán López ('94) collected 14 points and 5 rebounds.
