Augusto Cesar Lima ('91) and Rafael Freire ('92) -at the pic defending veteran Avdalovic-, both borned in Brazil and last years at Malaga, have been two of the big names of this week-end at Spain. The power-forward and the point-guard are combining the ACB team with the LEB Gold team (Axarquia), showing why Malaga signed them some years ago. Lima finished as the third best player of LEB Gold's last round, but Axarquia lost at Mallorca (92-84) with 23 points (6/8 FG) and 7 rebounds of the prospect.
At ACB Malaga beat Alicante (92-73) and Freire made his debut with the first team after receiving the transfer he has been waiting for some months from brazilian federation. The young point-guard played 17 minutes, collecting 5 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assist. He is 17 years old.
