Alexey Shved ('88) played his first game with his new team (Dynamo Moscow) after being loaned from CSKA Moscow. The guard and his new teammates faced Nizhniy Novgorod (actually 16-0 in the russian Superleague B) in the Russian Cup, but no problems for Eugeny Pashutin team, with a clear 107-69 final score. The prospect played 29 minutes, enough to collect 16 points (3/4 threes), 10 assists and 9 rebounds.

In its first game without Shved CSKA lost at Kaunas against Zalgiris in a VTB Unified League game (67-63). Estonian center Siim-Sander Vene ('90) played 12 minutes for locals: 4 points and 2 rebounds.
