Baris Hersek ('88) is playing this year in Banvit after being loaned from Efes Pilsen. The turkish forward was also loaned last year to Darussafaka, where he finished with 8.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.0 assist. Actually, one year older, he has to show many things if he wants to earn a spot at the top level. Eventhough he is not improving his last stats, and he is only playing 9.1 minutes at domestic league, with 3.4 points and 2.3 rebounds. This week-end he made his best season's game, in this case in the victory over Antalya (77-59), without missing any shot: 11 points (4/4 twos and 1/1 behind the arc), 4 rebounds and 2 assists.

Banvit also play EuroChallenge. In this competition, after two rounds, Hersek is making better stats:7.5 points and 3.0 rebounds in 14.5 minutes.
