Serbia, with FMP power-forward Nikola Jankovic ('94) scoring 20 points, won the tittle of the U-16 Tournament of Geneve after beating Italy in the final (94-87). Balcanic team coached by Sasa Nikitovic also had good performances of guard Vasilije Micic ('94), from FMP, with 17 points and point-guard Mladen Dordevic ('94), from Partizan, with 14. The best italian scorer was Mirco Turel ('94) with 22.
Turkey finished third after defeating Greece 80-69. Youngster point-guard Kenan Sipahi ('95) -who was named MVP of the tournament and is at the pic- scored 13 points and guard Tayfun Erulkü ('94) collected 27 against greeks.
