Giessen and Skyliners faced yesterday evening in the first game of the nineteenth rounth of german Bundesliga. The 46ers are struggling down of the standings, but they had a tough job to beat Skyliners. It was a tied game with visitors win (68-69) even the great job of local prospect Stevan Tapuskovic ('89), who made his best game since he arrived last summer from Partizan Belgrade youth teams. The small-forward collected 15 points (3/6 threes), 4 rebounds and 1 assist in 19 minutes. Serbian is averaging 6.0 points and 1.6 rebounds in 10'.
Tapuskovic won the gold in the U-18 European Championship of 2007 played in Madrid, where he nailed 6.8 points and 46% behind the arc. Some of his teammates were Filip Covic ('89) and Milan Macvan ('89).
