Many players of FMP Zeleznik youth teams are loaned to Radnicki Basket Novi Sad, a team that is competing in the A League with most of prospects in its roster. They don't win many games in serbian league (3-11), but they grow up getting ready to jump to a higher level. Yesterday they made the surprise of the day after beating Beograd, the current competition leader, easy (97-75). Dejan Djokic ('89), with 20 points in 22 minutes, and Nikola Markovic ('89), with 20 and 7 rebounds, led the youngsters. Ivan Smiljanic ('89) also made a good job (15 and 8 rebounds) while Stefan Zivanovic ('89) added 10 and 3 steals. Golden boy Nikola Vukasovic ('91) -Gold on last U-18 EC-, at the pic, collected 6 points, 9 assists and 2 rebounds.
The best season's scorer of team coached by Bosko Djokic is 2.13 center Uros Lukovic ('89), who shines with 11.5 points (64% 2FG) and 1.7 blocks.
