Regal FC Barcelona won the U-16 Tournament of Esplugues (Barcelona) after beating Cajasol Sevilla in the final (77-62). Carlos Barrera ('95) led his team to the victory with 14 points (2/5 threes), 6 steals and 5 rebounds. For Sevilla shined Luis Becerra ('94) with 23 points (8/13 FG) and 4 rebounds, finishing as the MVP of the tournament. The prospect also won the best scorer trophy.

Real Madrid finished third after winning DKV Joventut (67-68) even the amazing game of guard Ferran Ventura ('95): 36 points (13/26 FG and 5/7 FT), 7 rebounds and 5 steals.  

 

Final standings: 1-Barcelona, 2-Sevilla, 3-Madrid, 4-Joventut, 5-Fuenlabrada, 6-Murcia, 7-Manresana and 8-Esplugues.
