Croatian guard Toni Katic ('92), from KK Split, was one of the sensations of last Nike International Junior Tournament of L'Hospitalet. He usually doesn't play with the first team, but in the first game without Mario Delas ('90) after signing for Zalgiris Kaunas, coach Boris Kurtovic decided give some minutes to Katic. And he answered with 15 points in 17 minutes. He scored 5/5 FG and 5/7 FT, combined with 2 steals and 1 assist.

At croatian league KK Split is fifth (6-5). For sure they will struggle without Delas, but maybe they have found a new focus for scouts.
