Jonas Valanciunas ('92) made last night his first appearance with his new team, Lietuvos Rytas, and local crowd enjoyed with his great start. In a lithuanian league game team coached by Rimantas Kaukenas crashed Techasas (101-66) with the prospect making a good job coming from the bench. The center collected 18 points (8/11 FG and 2/3 FT), 5 rebounds and 1 assist in 19 minutes. No comment. His teammate Martynas Gecevicius ('88) added 9 and 4 assists in 15'.

For Panevezy's squad the best prospect was guard Tomas Cerneckis ('88), with 11 points and 3 assists.
