Serbians of Partizan conquested tonight the O.A.K.A. pavillion of Athens after beating Panathinaikos (59-64) in the first game of the Top-16 of the Euroleague. Czech forward Jan Vesely ('90) led winners with his best show ever in top level with a 23 valoration: 13 points (4/7 FG and 5/7 FT), 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals in 34 minutes. Team coached by Dusko Vujosevic have made the surprise of the day.

At Moscow (Russia) spaniards of Unicaja Malaga lost against CSKA (86-78). For visitors coach Aito Garcia Reneses gave again many minutes to the two brazilian pealrs. Augusto Lima ('91) started the game and collected 2 rebounds and 1 block in 12 minutes, while Rafael Freire ('92) scored 3 points and grabbed 1 board in 5'.
