The NBA D-League announced that Maine Red Claws center Alexis Ajinca ('88) has been named to the 2010 NBA D-League All-Star Team. 
Ajinca, 21, who will be unable to participate in the game due to injury, has played in 22 games with the Red Claws this season and averaged 14.6 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.1 blocked shots in 26.0 minutes played. His 3.1 blocked shots currently ranks second in the league. It is the first All-Star appearance for him.
“We are extremely proud of both Alexis and Trey (Gilder),” said Red Claws President and General Manager Jon Jennings. “They have worked hard this season and are both deserving of the honor. We know that they will represent the Red Claws well in Dallas.”
