Cornellà -the second team of FC Barcelona- is fighting to avoid last positions of spanish LEB Gold division. Actually team coached by Chema Solsona is the fourth worst with a 8-13 record, but last week-end they added an important victory beating Mallorca with a huge non-overtime score (105-101). Mamadou Samb ('89) -at the pic- and Xavi Rabaseda ('89) -both bronze medal on last U-20 EC and loaned from FCB- shined with 25 points each. The power-forward added 9 rebounds and 2 blocks, while the guard scored 5/8 behind the arc.

Point-guard Dani Pérez ('90), also from FCB, made one of his best season games with 8 points, 5 assists, 4 steals and 2 rebounds.
