Richard Grznar ('91) is one of the best slovakian prospects. The guard made a great U-20 Division B EC last summer, finishing with 17.8 points and 44% behind the arc even he was U-18. Spanish ACB team Fuenlabrada signed him, but both parts didn't agree some details and the prospect decided to go back to his home country to finish high school. Now he is playing for Levice, the last team on standings and also with financial trouble. For this reason they are playing without americans (both left) and also without some slovakian players who decided leave because they didn't get paied.
Actually Grznar is averaging 11.1 points with 39% at three points line, 2.9 assists and 2.5 rebounds. Today they lost again (at Prievidza, 63-59) with 17 points and 3/6 threes from the prospect. He is playing many minutes, with chances to show his potential. Will he leave finally Slovakia next summer and take the flight to Spain? Fuenlabrada will have the answer.
