Great performance of german Elias Harris ('89) with Gonzaga in the second round of the NCAA tournament, but not enough to beat Syracuse (87-65). The forward nailed 24 points (8/13 FG and 8/13 FT) and pulled down 8 rebounds in 31 minutes.

Gonzaga was trying to become the second team from the West Coast Conference to shock the Big East -WCC tournament champ Saint Mary's stunned second-seeded Villanova on Saturday- but they were no match for the Orange.
