Latvian center Martins Abele ('90) has committed to Radford (NCAA) for the next season. The 2.16 prospect has been playing this year with Oak Hill Academy, at Virginia. Eurohopes contacted Abele: "I feel really good right now because the pressure is off my shoulders. Now I know where I will be attending to school next year. I just want to get in the best shape. I can be and play maybe even make the NCAA tournament. It all depends how well we will play".
In Radford, of the Big South Conference, played europeans like english Nosa Obasuyi ('80) and russian Andrei Savchenko ('78). Actually belarusian Artsiom Parakhouski ('87) is its main reference with 21.4 points and 13.4 rebounds. No comment.
