Some weeks ago we talked about a very interesting project in Majadahonda, a city close to Madrid (Spain). In the article we could read that rising prospects like brazilian Jefferson Froelich ('91) -at the pic- and montenegrin Nikola Rakocevic ('91) were part of a very competitive team in EBA (fourth division). This squad recently finished first of the regular season (23-4 with three games remaining for the end) and taking a look to the stats we see that Froelich (10.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.9 assists) and Rakocevic (17.4 points with 48% behind the arc) have shined as their leaders. But the list of interesting players is longer, with names such as Dorde Majstorovic ('90), Goran Oluic ('88), Dejan Majstorovic ('88),... But the nice clip they did at the beggining it seems to become history.
The spanish financial problems have affected the project, and most of the players are looking for another place to continue their progression. According to some rumors Froelich can be close to sign with Estudiantes. What will happen with the brazilian, Rakocevic, and the rest?
