The ESPN Rise National High School Invitation tournament will be held from today till Saturday in Coppin State (Baltimore). Some european prospects who are playing in USA can make the last sparks before going to NCAA. One of them is icelandic Haukur Palsson ('92), from Montverde Academy (Florida), who has committed to Maryland. Another one is latvian Martins Abele ('90), from Oak Hill Academy. The 2.16 center has committed with Radford (NCAA). In Findlay Prep danish Thomas Laerke ('91) and Marko Petrovic ('91) are still studying what they will do next season.

The quarterfinals games are: Montverde Academy - Montrose Christian, Christ School - Winter Park, Oak Hill - Mountain State Academy and Findlay Prep - Charlotte Christian.
