Corrado Bianconi ('94) -at the pic- has been the first big name of U-16 Ragusa Tournament after scoring 19 points to lead Italy to the victory over Bulgaria (88-56). The guard of Virtus Siena, son of Pierangelo Bianconi (president of Cipir BPN Domodossola), averaged 11.0 points and 46% behind the arc in 21' in Turk Telekom Tournament with Italy last February. In today's game beside Bianconi also shined Camillo Bianchi ('94) with 14 points. For Bulgaria the best scorer has been Deyan Karamfilov ('94) with 19.

 

In the other game of this first day Spain beat Greece (72-58) behind the ggod performance of Albert Homs ('94), guard of DKV Joventut. The prospect, who has been in the ACB bench this season, finished with 15 points. At greek side Kyprianos Maragkos ('94), from Panathinaikos, nailed 12. Spanish team has the tough mission to forget the squad that won the gold medal last summer in the U-16 EC of Kaunas.
