Tibor Pleiss ('89) and his teammates of Brose Baskets won the Top-4 tournament in Germany after beating Deutsche Bank Skyliners in the final (76-75). The 2.15 center started the game, finishing with 6 points (2/2 FG and 2/2 FT), 4 rebounds and 3 blocks in 20 minutes. Karsten Tadda ('88) pulled down 2 rebounds in 9'.

In the semifinals Bamberg team eliminated Göttingen (71-59) with Pleiss having 2 points, 3 rebounds and 1 block in 13' and Tadda scoring 2 points and grabbing 4 boards in 11'. Brose is sixth on Bundesliga standings (19-11), behind Alba (23-7), Oldenburg (21-7), Telekom (21-9), Göttingen (21-8) and Bremerhaven (19-11).
