Some days ago CSKA Moscow lost his first game in the russian league this season. It was against Khimki (68-73) in first round of the second stage. Yesterday Evgeny Pashutin's squad faced Dynamo Moscow in the second round... And they lost again (85-82). Youngsters Alexey Shved ('88) -loaned from CSKA, and in the pic- and Dmitry Khvostov ('89) shined against the reds.
Shved came from the bench and in 24 minutes he nailed 10 points (2/6 twos and 6/6 threes), dished 5 assists and grabbed 3 boards. Beside him Khvostov scored 11 (2/3 threes), with 5 assists and 4 rebounds. Three teams qualified for the Euroleague's Final Four lost this week-end: CSKA, Partizan against Hemofarm (74-72) and Barcelona in San Sebastian (71-60). Olympiakos struggled but finally beat Kolossos (79-87).
