Adnan Hodzic ('88) has been one of the surprises in the NCAA this season. The 2.06 bosnian power-forward finished as the second best scorer of the nation playing with Lipscomb Bisons, nailing 22.7 points (60% FG) and pulling down 9.1 rebounds, with big games like against Mercer (37+17) or Arizona (34+13). Some days ago he declared early entry for next NBA draft after playing three seasons at college. Eurohopes contacted him to see what's going on.

-Not a lot of people in Europe knows you. Can you tell to Eurohopes fans who are you and when you arrived to USA?
I arrived in the USA when I was 8 years old from Sarajevo, Bosnia. I left because of the war that was going on between Bosnia and Serbia.

-You finished as the second best scorer in NCAA this season. Are you happy about your personal and team performance in Lipscomb?
I am proud of my accomplishments and awards from this past season. I want to represent my family and my country very well. I want them all to be proud. But, there is more improvement coming in my game. I am expanding my game and working on my 3pt shooting.

-Some days ago you declared early entry for next NBA draft. What is your goal, arrive to the end or testing the waters?
Yes, the NBA has always been my dream since I was a child. I am testing the waters to see what is the best option.

-Would you like to be part of the bosnian NT in next competitions?
I would love to be part of the bosnian national team if they call me. Like I said, I love my country and want to represent them the best way I can.

-Do you think in european basketball often or actually your dream is the NBA?
My dream is the NBA, but I would love to play in Europe also! Europe would make me closer to my family, which is a big deal to me.

-Good luck from Eurohopes.
