Zalgiris Kaunas is the new champion of the Baltic League after beating Lietuvos Rytas in the big final (66-73). Team coached by Darius Maskoliunas had a tough mission against Martynas Gecevicius ('88) & Co., with the guard finishing with 20 points, even 5/17 FG. Youngster Jonas Valanciunas ('92) nailed 2 points in 5 minutes in the losing effort. For Kaunas squad croatian Mario Delas ('90) -at the pic- didn't score (0/4 FG and 0/2 FT), but he collected 7 rebounds and had 1 steal.

Tomorrow the game for the third position between Siauliai and Ventspils will be played again because lithuanians won today (82-83) with a last shot scored when the game was ended.
