Andrey Loginov ('93) played in a great level to lead CSKA Moscow to the junior russian title after beating Triumph (72-73) in the overtime. The 2.03 international power-forward nailed 23 points (9/19 FG and 5/7 FT), collected 10 rebounds and put 2 blocks. Beside him also shined guard Artem Komolov ('93) with 16 and 4/7 behind the arc. For Tryumph Sergey Karasev ('93) -number 3 at Eurohopes '93- finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds, even 3/16 FG (2/11 threes).
In the semifinals CSKA eliminated Spartak St. Petersburg (79-75), with another show of Loginov (27 points with 11/17 FG). The prospect was named MVP of the tournament.
