Göttingen is the new champion of the EuroChallenge after beating russians of Kranye in the final (75-83). As we expected, at german side prospect Tobias Welzel ('90) didn't play, like Krasnye's power-forward Artem Yakovenko ('88).
In the game for the third place Roanne beat Scavolini (86-80) with Namory Boundy ('89) sitting on the bench 40 minutes for the winners. For italians Giovanni Tomassini ('88) played 17 minutes: 5 points (2/4 FG), 4 rebounds and 1 assist. The Final Four was held in Göttingen.
