Przemek Karnowski ('93) was one of the big names last summer in youth tournaments. The huge 2.12 polish center and his teammates finished fourth in the Division "A" U-16 European Championship at Kaunas (Lithuania), only behind Spain, Lithuania and Serbia. For him this season in domestic competitions is over after competing in senior, U-20 and U-18 level. Now it's time for other things: "Now I make individual practices". Eurohopes contacted him. Is an important summer for Poland, with its U-17 NT competing in Hamburg (Germany) at the World Championship. "To prepare it we will have the first camp from June 9th to 19th. Our goal? We will fight and play the best we can".
The prospect, who is ranked in the top-5 of Eurohopes'93, adds that "we want to qualify for the quarterfinals and then we will fight for the polish surprise. The base of the team is the same as Kaunas". Karnowski has played 14 games this season with senior team of SIDEn MMKS, at third division, averaging 12.2 points and 9.1 rebounds in only 21'. He has played great games, like against OSSM Sopot (20+15) and Zyrardow (18+15).
