Brit Ryan Richards ('91) made a great impact in the first day of the Chicago Combine some weeks ago, and since then he has stayed in the States practicing with different NBA teams. The NBA Draft ceremony is June 24th, and the early-entry withdrawal dead line, ten days before (14th). A lot of rumors around the europeans, but some of them already announced that they won't go, like lithuanian Donatas Motiejunas ('90). Let's check some of the mock drafts, paying especial attention to the appearance of Richards in the first round (he was supposed to go to the Adidas Eurocamp, but finally didn't). This can be the first NBA draft with no europeans in the first round since 1994. Or maybe not. French Kevin Seraphin ('89), currently injured, has also his chances if he doesn't retire his name. We will see.
