Andrea Renzi ('89) was sidelined last October due to a knee injury. Since then the Benetton Treviso forward was been watching a lot of games, but not playing. The Jesolo U-22 Summer League is helping him to recover, and yesterday impressed with 32 points in 31 minutes. Let's check what happened yesterday in the two tournament games. -Io Master Benetton 98 Tecnomeccanica 95: Renzi led the winners with 32 points (10/17 twos, 2/4 threes and 6/7 ft), 4 rebounds and 2 steals. Beside him shined Federico Loschi ('90), from Riva del Garda (A dilettanti), with 18 (5/7 from downtown), and 7 boards. For Tecnomeccanica guard Ricardo Truccolo ('89), from Udine (Lega2), wasn't enough: 22 with 6/13 threes. Guard Simone Bonfiglio ('88), from Ruvo (A dilettanti), flirted with the triple-double: 15 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds. Box score.

 

-Canevel International 76 Rossl & Duso 72: Brazilian Rafael Maia ('91), from Paulistano, led the victory, becoming one of the tournament sensations. He had 20 points (8/12 FG), 5 rebounds and 3 steals. His teammate Howard Sant Roos ('91), from Bernareggio (C Regional), added a double-double (10 points, 10 boards and 2 blocks). For Rossl & Duso shined Davide Bonacini ('90), from Fidenza (A dilettanti), with a great performance: 16 points, 6 assists and 10 fouls drawn. Forward Davide Rosignoli ('88), from Ozzano (A dilettanti), wasn't enough either: 13 points, 12 rebounds and 10 fouls drawn. Box score.
